Slow Reading Club
17.mei.25, 20:00

A new edition of the Slow Reading Club (SRC) focusing on the relationship between writing, contagion, and illness. Especially for this occasion, a new reader will be compiled and published, and later performed together with the reading audience, following scores developed by the artists.

About Slow Reading Club

SRC is a special reading group that has existed since 2016, founded by choreographer Bryana Fritz and artist Henry Andersen. Instead of a traditional book club, they create unique situations where reading becomes a physical and collective experience.

SRC explores how meaning spreads between people during reading. Can reading, like dance, be performed according to a choreography? Through their experiments, they aim to bring to life the space between the text and the reader, and between readers themselves. They play with the boundary between language and physicality, and explore the possibilities of reading as a sensory experience.
